During my break, I’ve taken that time to reflect back on the purpose of why all of us have started or wanted to explore internet marketing, or starting an internet business. In essence, it’s NOT all about making money — it’s about being able to work less and have more time to do the things we really want, meanwhile reducing the stress we’re facing with conventional businesses (or jobs).

 

Thus, this is why it’s important that we MUST be able to make money easily and the income must be predictable and stable.

 

If you ever wanted to make easy, predictable and stable income for yourself, these are the 5 criteria you should have…

 

1. Mainstream product.

 

If you ask your neighbour whether they’ve read (fill in the blank with your favourite internet marketing guru’s name's) latest blog post, they’ll look at you strangely. A mainstream product is a product that everyone knows, or if they don’t, it’ll just take you a minute to explain and they will GET IT. Do you have a mainstream product?

 

2. It can be scaled.

 

Assuming we get to ignore product life cycle and external influences like competitors, change of trends, etc, your product should be able to grow by simply doing more of whatever that is already working. For instance, many app companies can easily scale its business to the next level by releasing new games on the same platform easily.

 

3. Natural growth.

 

Internet marketing is definitely a very lucrative niche and it certainly gets my recommendation. However, 9 out of 10 of the products in the market do not have natural growth — they’re promoted through an orchestrated launch (which is unlikely to be pulled by a newbie or marketer with minimal funds). After the launch, when everything settles down, the product will eventually “die” on its own. Again, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it but it’s surely not the long-term model that you and I are seeking to achieve for our financial freedom.

 

4. Repetitive usage.

 

Preferably, your product should be a kind of product that gets the user to come back again to “consume” it again. Twitter and Facebook are two very accurate examples. Or a game where the player comes back to play it again and again.

 

5. You should not be in the picture.

 

When the product is up and running, doing what it’s supposed to do, you’re not supposed to be the reason why the user continues to use your product. If this happens, it’s going to be very difficult for you to ever achieve the freedom you want. Just look at today’s internet marketers — they are facing this problem. If you don’t believe me, just ask around.

 

The solution?

 

An app business. It fits into the 5 criteria perfectly.

 

But what excites me the most is…

Although I’ve seen a few internet marketers who have successfully reached this stage, the truth is, almost none of them will ever reach it here.

 

Instagram was sold for A BILLION. Draw Something app and the subsequent company were sold for a whopping $180 million dollars.

 

That’s what I call, massive profit windfalls. Now, I’m not trying to BS you that you’re going to make $100 million or become an app millionaire tomorrow. But the fact is, this exit strategy option is available today simply because companies are buying app businesses like buying hot cakes.

 

Even if you're just selling it off for a million or several hundreds of thousands, that's not too shabby.

 

But for the conventional internet marketing, I doubt there is any exit strategy for it. App business is different; it’s a MAINSTREAM business.

 

If you haven’t realized by now that iPhones are *everywhere*. The market is extremely big.

 

And you know what – I haven’t even touched on Google Android yet. This opens up the floodgate to an insane number of users. Android captures more than 70% of today’s mobile market share, whereas Apple is at about 15%. The rest are using other platforms.

"The Great Lie Of Becoming An App Entrepreneur"

 

I’m mad with the lies you’ve been fed with.

 

You’ve probably seen some low price courses or e-books on the internet with a super-hyped up sales letter which promise you can make money with apps, right?

 

Frankly, it may sound bias for me to tell you but 99% of them are nothing but just “tutorials”. As your friend, I would at least suggest you have some due-diligence as to the accuracy of their claims. The truth is, nearly all of them are BS nonsense. Sorry.

 

How about the “big boys” who have success with their apps and are now teaching it?

 

They’re great but truthfully, you’re not getting the full scoop story bucko. Yes, they’ll tell you how to do it, but they don’t really tell you how they did it, do they?

 

Meaning, they’re not telling you exactly what they did to get over a million download and so on. The X factor (missing gap, whatever) is never shared.

 

Some of these gurus even claimed that their apps have been sold for millions but the funniest part is, they never tell you which are the apps sold and which company bought it, don’t they? It make you wonder the validity to these claims.

 

Many secrets are locked in the vault – forever. Probably just shared among their buddies where you’re not part of their “inner circle”.

 

The worst of it all is how some unethical marketers mislead us to believe their scams. For instance, they say that they’ll be teaching us about creating apps, but the truth is it’s just using some platform to create content apps (some call these apps niche apps). I want you to have a unique app. Just another low quality app.

 

Just so you know, it’s POINTLESS to create low quality apps. They usually don’t get approved in the Appstore. And even if they do, they’re not going to be liked by the users and you could even piss them off.

 

But the good news is, if you do it right and you have the right system, you can be an app entrepreneur and making money from apps EVERY DAY.
